PROGRAM: MBBS

PROGRAM DURATION & DETAILS:

  • 4 & 1/2 years plus 1-year Internship

  • Course of study & examinations will be as per the rules and regulations of Kerala University of Health Sciences. 

  • After completing the final MBBS, students must obtain provisional registration with TCMC before resuming internship.

ADMISSION:

  • Selected candidates are required to produce the required list of documents in original for verification.

  • Selected candidates are required to deposit stipulated fees on or before the last date of admission.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates must have:

  • Completed Plus Two exam of state board or XII standard in CBSE or ICSE Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying board exam.

  • Qualified in the NEET examination of that year, as evidenced by producing the score sheet with rank.

  • Registered with Commissioner of Entrance Examination of Kerala to obtain state rank & allotment letter.

  • Attained 17 years of age before 31st of December of the year of admission.

  • Eligibility certificate from the Kerala University of Health Sciences if they are from outside the state or NRI.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Students must deposit the fees on or before the last date.

  • Student forfeits his/her fees if they fail to join or discontinue from the course.

  • All the students must take admission in the hostels unless they are day-scholars &/or have taken prior permission from the Principal.

  • All the students must follow the rules and regulations of the college and avoid illegal activities at all the times in the campus, failing which disciplinary action will be taken against the students, that may amount to suspension from the hostel or from the college, as decided by the disciplinary committee.

  • Ragging is a criminal offence and the institution has strict policy against ragging. As a first year student, you can report any form of ragging to any of the faculty members online or through a toll free number to register your complaints. As a senior student, you are required to avoid indulging in any form of ragging, failing which, a student may be even expelled from the college if the anti-ragging committee is convinced of the evidence.

  • Students are required to carry his/her identity card at all times and library cards whenever using the library facility.

  • Undergraduate course commences on 1st of August and Postgraduate course commences on 1st of May. 

  • Students should be seated in the class before the class begins.

  • A minimum of 80% attendance is compulsory to be eligible for the University examination.
