World Down Syndrome Day 2025

The Department of Pediatrics at Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation organized a quiz competition on 21st March 2025 in observance of World Down Syndrome Day 2025. The event aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of Down syndrome among students.

The quiz was conducted by Dr. Akhila and Dr. Salabha as quiz masters and featured multiple rounds covering various aspects of the condition, including genetics, diagnosis, management, and social inclusion.

After a highly competitive session, Dr. Sajjad and Dr. Aishwarya emerged as the winners of the quiz.

The event was well-received by participants and faculty members, reinforcing the commitment to medical education and advocacy for children with special needs.
