World Immunization Week 2025

The Department of Pediatrics, Sree Gokulam Medical College, organized a series of programs in connection with World Immunization Week 2025. Programs included:

1. Talks by Prof. Dr. Lalitha Kailas and Prof. Dr. Swapna K. Pillai, emphasizing the significance of immunization in disease prevention and public health.

2. Role Play by 2022 batch MBBS students, creatively highlighting the impact of vaccination in controlling infectious diseases.

3. Vaccination Awareness Program by Nursing students, focusing on educating the community about vaccine schedules and safety.

4. Quiz on Immunization conducted by Dr. Akhila Naz, testing the knowledge of post-graduate students on various aspects of vaccination. Winner: Dr. Aparnna.

These activities effectively reinforced the message of "Immunization for All is Humanly Possible" and inspired a proactive approach to immunization among healthcare professionals, students and community.
