Achievements
- Snehita Breast Cancer risk assessment tool (the breast cancer risk calculator for risk stratification among women for early detection of Breast Cancer ) Won the ASCO IIG Award 2022 for the validation of the tool.Govt of Kerala is using this for risk stratification in the Arogyam Anaadam Programme
- Snehita Women’s Health Foundation: An NGO for early detection of cancer. Free Service Clinic for long term follow up. Community Awareness Programmes, Community CBE Camps and Volunteer Training. Personally examined more than 30000 women (Clinical Breast Examination)
- NIH mHealth m-OncoEd project in collaboration with RTI International was a technological platform for educating and updating primary care physicians for the early detection of cancers.
- PI- Process evaluation of NCD program of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) in Neyyattinkara taluk of Trivandrum district. The observations and suggestions from the study were used to fine-tune the program before the statewide implementation (2009-2010)
