Over view
- The MBBS degree is a five and a half year program in Medicine, including a one year internship. The curriculum is based on the directives of the Medical Council of India. Clinical exposure begins in the second year, with classes conducted by clinical specialists emphasizing the relevance of basic sciences to clinical practices. Hospital postings and field visits to public health centers aim at providing exposure to the students about different scenarios in which doctors in India find themselves, so that the best care is provided in all the circumstances.
Seat allocation
- Seats are divided into 50% merit and 50 % management.
- Merit seat admissions are made through Kerala State Medical entrance conducted by Kerala Entrance Board
- Management seats are filled through a test conducted by KPMCMA (Kerala Private Medical College Management Association)
