APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR ADMISSION TO PARAMEDICAL COURSES AT

Sree Gokulam Institute of Paramedical Sciences is located at Venjaramoodu, Trivandrum, Kerala along with Sree Gokulam Medical College & Sree Gokulam Nursing College and the Campus is spread over 50 acres.  SGIPMS is a Unit of Foundation of Non-resident Indians.  Our teaching hospital is a 500 bedded tertiary care hospital with a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced specialists.  The SGMC Hospital offers a range of clinical specialties, modern diagnostic facilities and all the amenities of a multi specialty hi-tech modern hospital.  The hospital provides treatment on various specialties such as Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Opthalmology, ENT, Aneasthesiology, Radiology and emergency services.  Super specialty departments include Cardio thoracic, Neurology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Neuro surgery.

 

 

PROSPECTUS FOR ADMISSION TO PARAMEDICAL COURSES.

 

 

Government of Kerala has issued Letter of Permission to start the following courses for the Academic year 2009-10

 

  1. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
  2. Diploma in Radiological Technology (DRT)
  3. Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT)
  4. Diploma in Dialysis Technology (DDT)

 

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. The age limit for admission shall be 17-25yrs for the course.
  2.  The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12Yrs) course

Or

            Senior School Certificate Examination (10 +2). Pre Degree Examination (10+2)

                                                            Or

An equivalent with 12yrs schooling from a recognized board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

  1. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from outside Kerala    should produce Recognition Certificate and equivalency of qualifying examination from any of the Universities of Kerala.
  2. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the qualifying examination he/she has passed is recognized by any of the Universities of Kerala as eligible qualification for admission to various Paramedical Courses.
  3. The candidate should produce Migration Certificate if it is required.
  4. Candidates shall be medically fit.

50% of the seats will be filled up by the Management.

 

FEES – As per the decision taken by the management in consultation with the Government.

 

SELECTION

 

50% of the seats will be filled up by the management on the basis of eligibility prescribed by the Government and the performance at entrance test and personal interview conducted by the management.  The date of entrance test and personal interview will be published through print media.

 

Application forms can be downloaded from here .The application should be sent with a DD for Rs.300/- in favour of SGIPMS on OR before  28.11.09  to the Director SGIPMS, Venjaramoodu, Trivandrum.

 

Documents to be produced at the time of interview.

 

  1. Mark list of qualifying examination.
  2. Receipt of payment of fee for application
  3. Ten recent passport size photograph.

 

ADMISSION

 

Admission will be made from the list forwarded by DME for 50% of seats and from the list prepared after entrance test and interview by the management for the remaining 50% of seats.
